The Bennett Prize Returns for Round 5 and is now awarding $75,000!

The Bennett Prize 5 opens the call for entries on April 13, 2026. The Prize is the largest awarded solely to women painters and remains so with the increased prize amount at $75,000 for first place and a second prize in the amount of $10,000.

Over the first 8 years of The Prize, the 4 winners, 2 runners up, 34 finalists and 10 honorable mentions have participated in 243 group shows and 68 solo shows, received 63 additional awards, earned mentions in 145 art publications, have 22 galleries represent them and over 10 million impressions on social media. These results exemplify The Bennett Prize mission to propel the careers of women figurative realist painters.

For The Bennett Prize 5 please note two additional changes: to enter, the amount of a previously sold piece has increased from $25,000 to $35,000, meaning you may have sold a piece up to the amount of $35,000 and still qualify to enter, and the entry fee has increased from $40 to $50.
